1-17-23 THOUGHTS
Man’s “turning to the Lord”, is the fundamental need of eternity. The scriptures below were chosen to urge us to see our role in the process of saving men. “GO & MAKE” are simple words. Our “planting and watering” are blessed by God’s giving increase to the process! We must believe that! "I BELIEVED, THEREFORE I SPOKE," we also believe, therefore we also speak, 2Cor 4:13b I beg us to consider our ways. Paul’s incessant laboring for Christ is given below as the reason he did not receive the GRACE OF GOD IN VAIN! I feel a need to raise the EXPECTATION LEVEL I have for myself , when it comes to serving my Lord! Please, let’s pray about this for us and me!
Ps 107:2a Let the redeemed of the LORD say [so,]
Ps 22:27-28 All the ends of the earth will remember and turn to the LORD, And all the families of the nations will worship before You. 28 For the kingdom is the LORD’S And He rules over the nations.
Matt 28:19-20 "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age."
1Cor 3:6 I planted, Apollos watered, but God was causing the growth.
Matt 9:37 Then He said to His disciples, "The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few.
Mark 16:20 And they went out and preached everywhere, while the Lord worked with them, and confirmed the word by the signs that followed.]] [[And they promptly reported all these instructions to Peter and his companions. Acts 13:47-49 "For so the Lord has commanded us, ‘I HAVE PLACED YOU AS A LIGHT FOR THE GENTILES, THAT YOU MAY BRING SALVATION TO THE END OF THE EARTH.’" 48 When the Gentiles heard this, they began rejoicing and glorifying the word of the Lord; and as many as had been appointed to eternal life believed. 49 And the word of the Lord was being spread through the whole region.
3John 1:7-8 For they went out for the sake of the Name, accepting nothing from the Gentiles. 8 Therefore we ought to support such men, so that we may be fellow workers with the truth.
1Cor 15:10-11 But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me did not prove vain; but I labored even more than all of them, yet not I, but the grace of God with me. 11 Whether then it was I or they, so we preach and so you believed.
My Prayer:
Father God, help me to surrender my life to your service. Help me to overcome my holding back. I believe, give me boldness to speak your word and the Good News of Jesus Christ. Make my life simple and focused and alive with zeal. Restore unto me the joy of your salvation. Help me to go out for the sake of the Name. In the name of Jesus the Christ, Amen.
